June election ballots finalized
The petitions are in and the ballots are set. The April 9 filing deadline has come and gone to get on the Primary election ballot in Mercer County, which means the list of names that voters will see come election time on June 8 have been finalized. Municipalities In Hazen, Mark Nygard and Nancy Wolf will be running for the mayor’s seat, which is being vacated by Commission President Delmar Schramm. Daryl Platz, Hilmer Weidrich and Jerry Obenauer Jr. have filed petitions to fill two seats vacated by Commissioners Mike Krause and Myra Axtman.
