June election hopefuls provide background
With mail-in election ballots being sent out, now is the time for Mercer County voters to educate themselves on the candidates who are running for various offices throughout the county. In a series of stories providing background on those candidates, below are profiles of candidates vying for president of the Hazen City Commission, as well as candidates hoping to be seated on the Stanton City Council. Hazen Mayor In Hazen, Nancy Wolf and Mark Nygard will be running for the mayor’s seat, which is being vacated by current Commission President Delmar Schramm.
