Krause’s celebrating two milestones

Twenty-five years after Dalles Krause handed over the reins of their grocery store to his kids, Krause’s Market continues to flourish.
“I tell you what, the kids are doing great with it,” Dalles said. “And they’ve had great employees, great employees. And it’s been a great community. All three communities have been great.”
In addition to the 25th year anniversary, Krause’s Market is celebrating an overall milestone of 60 years. Dalles and his wife Marilyn bought the former Malke Super Valu in 1961, renaming it and running it for the next 35 years, when his children – Dalles Jr. “D” Krause and Kari Olson – took over as co-owners.
