Legislation: Private property owners out of heritage area
At first, you couldn’t get out if you had wanted to. Now, it looks like you would have to ask to be let in. Legislation passed by the U.S. Senate last Thursday protects private property owners from being included in the Northern Plains National Heritage Area without their written consent.
