Local library display honors veterans
Hazen Public Library has a new display available for the public to look through.
This display has a specific focus: archiving the history of Mercer County and its communities, and, in particular, the residents here who have answered the call to serve their country.
The books on Mercer County’s history and contribution to America’s wartime service are not new. For many years, Lani Meyhoff has compiled all the records in the county on these veterans, with the books available at the Hazen library for residents and visitors to look through.
