Mercer County and state loses longtime dignitary
"Life is like a game of cards: You must play each hand you’re dealt." – "Who Dealt This Mess?" by Patrick "Pat" Galvin Pat Galvin was a man who played his cards right. Pat, a longtime resident of Mercer County, died Sunday at 84 years of age. The youngest of four children, Pat was born May 7, 1925, near Foxholm. Over the course of his years, he was a farmer, firefighter, salesman, artist, sculptor, airman, Barber, author, husband, father and grandfather.
