Mercer County burn ban lifted
Due to the recent snowfall in our area, the countywide burn ban has been lifted.
According to Mercer County Emergency Manager Carmen Reed, the burn ban will be lifted until the area fire chiefs feel it needs to be put in place again.
Always remember to use common sense and caution when burning. If you are planning a controlled burn, inform Mercer County Dispatch at 745-3334.
