Nationally recognized artist comes to Hazen

Members of the Hazen Art and Craft Association (HACA) had an incredible opportunity to see an incredible artist at work in their own town.
Carol Fynn is in her sixth year of coming to North Dakota for art classes. She also teaches in Bismarck, Beach, and Glendive in the state. It was her second year coming to Hazen.
HACA member Linda Maize originally saw a Facebook post about her having some openings in her class in Bismarck, so she called two friends and they all went to Bismarck for her class. Then they talked her into coming to Hazen last year to teach.
Fynn travels around the United States teaching watercolor classes. For example, she taught 70 students in Annapolis, Md. every year on her way around the United States. Fynn said she is always amazed at how talented Hazen’s artists are and considers this group one of her best group of painters that she works with. She enjoyed being here for Crazy Days in Hazen.
