No more Head Start in Beulah
A $75,000 cut to West River Head Start’s budget has forced it to make a “fiscally efficient, but drastic” decision to close its Beulah classroom, the program’s director said in a letter to community members.
“The first thought was despair. We saw it coming also,” Head Start Director Josef Kolosky said. “We were upset about it. It just came down to the dollars and we couldn’t find it anywhere else.”
