Resident shares Annabelle concerns
A Hazen resident expressed a few concerns regarding Minnesota-based developer Annabelle Homes at the Hazen City Commission’s regular meeting Feb. 21.
Judy Brunmeier, Hazen, approached the commission with information she received from a member of the Kenmare Planning and Zoning Commission. According to Brunmeier, Annabelle Homes requested the city of Kenmare complete their zoning ordinance amendments by June 2011 to enable the start of construction on dozens of single-family homes and town houses, a bank, convenience store, office space and a new baseball field in July 2011. As of Feb. 18, 2012, construction had yet to begin.
