Reviving a church and community for Christ

By Daniel Arens
It’s hard for a congregation to keep together after a period of years, rather than weeks, without a pastor.
However, Hazen Christian Fellowship has managed to do that. And now, after the long wait, they are welcoming a new pastor for their church.
Marc Quattlebaum hales originally from the town of Lubbock in Texas, where he was born and raised. However, even from a young age, he got used to spending the summers working at his grandparents’ farm in western Oklahoma.
“I went to college at Texas Tech for studio art,” Quattlebaum said. “I went for four years, but not really with the goal of getting a degree. I just wanted to create art.”
