Rural residents voice opposition to Proterra plant
A previous presentation and request made by a Minnesota business met some opposition in the form of about 30 rural and urban Hazen residents at a Mercer County Commission meeting held Wednesday, Oct. 7, at the Mercer County Courthouse in Stanton. The residents voiced concern over both the industrial facility’s proposed construction site in a residential area as well as the county’s allocation of government-issued bonds.
