Schools making the move to Central
There’s likely to be a few hiccups and headaches--but the Hazen School District is working hard toward ensuring a smooth transition into operating on Central time come early November. The topic of time was on the Hazen School Board’s agenda at their regular meeting Monday evening at the Hazen Elementary School. As of the end of Daylight Saving Time Nov. 7, one of the most widespread changes in Hazen schools will be a change in the school day start and end times. Starting Nov. 8 until at least the end of the first semester on Jan.14, 2011, Hazen schools will start at 9:25 a.m. CST and end at 4:10 p.m. CST.
