Serving our youth in the heart of their stresses
These last five months have been a trying time for us all. But, barring the elderly largely quarantined in nursing homes or other care facilities, those who have likely had the greatest difficulty have been children and youth.
Plucked from classes in the midst of their year, kids had to adjust to a new normal. Separated from their regular education, they had to discover how online learning works. Separated from their routines, they had to find new ways to keep themselves occupied. Often separated from their friends physically, they had to reinvent how to look after their social health.
