Setback concerns are raised as wind ordinance debated
After a two month hiatus, the Mercer County Planning and Zoning Board resumed meeting with new board members to rehash some familiar topics.
At the core of the meeting is the ongoing attempt to draft an ordinance governing how Mercer County will approach the development of wind energy going forward. Currently, a moratorium is in place on permits for wind facilities while the ordinance is being created.
