eEmergency launches two-way video

Before Thursday staff at Sakakawea Medical Center had to make decisions on patient care by themselves.
Now with the push of a button they can ask for help from more than 500 miles away.
SMC went live last week through eEmergency, an innovative service that links two-way video equipment in local emergency rooms to emergency-trained physicians at a central hub in Sioux Falls.
