Songs for the season

As Christmas approaches, it can be a busy and hectic time, with events and shopping and travel plans occupying everyone’s attention.
While the Knife River Chorale’s performance might seem like one more event in a month already chock full of them, there’s a serenity and comfort that comes with this concert to many people each year.
That’s because the purpose of the chorale is to tell the true meaning of Christmas through both classic and new music that uplifts the spirits of those who have the chance to hear.
The chorale will have shows Dec. 14 and 15 at the Hazen High School Theater. The first performance will be at 7:30 p.m. Dec. 14, with a second show at 3 p.m. on Dec. 15.
