Stanton names new council member
The Stanton City Council welcomed Central time to Mercer County on Monday evening with one of their shortest meetings in recent memory.
The business of the evening, however, was no less important as the council approved appointment of Heather Vigesaa to the council. Vigesaa will fill the unexpired term vacated by former council member Billie Jo Brown, who moved outside Stanton city limits. The four-year term expires in June 2012.
