Stanton’s angels: Ladies’ motorcycle run coming this weekend

Stanton might be a tad bit louder this weekend. Starting Friday night, the town will be hosting the 32nd Annual ND Ladies Run, the longest running women-only motorcycle gathering in North America. The run began in the late 80s with groups of 9-20 motorcycle-wielding women and has grown over the years.
According to organizer Tanya Gerving, they expect between roughly 175-200 women to attend this year and will have women coming from as far away as Colorado, Arizona and Florida. A resident of Stanton, Gerving was glad to play host to the event.
“The little town of Stanton has everything we need to host it,” Gerving said.
