Student speech showcase Sunday
A Hazen High School Speech community showcase will be held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at the HHS Theater.
At the showcase, every HHS Speech Team member will be performing at least one of their pieces they competed with this speech season. The regional speech competition was held April 8 in Washburn, and the state competition will be held Sunday, April 24 in Mandan.
The state qualifiers from Hazen are Annika Vernon in Inform and Persuade, Jenna Fitzgerald in Humorous Interpretation, Samantha Mead in Radio Broadcasting and Humorous Interpretation, Delanie Wiedrich in Speech to Entertain, and Brandt Vernon in Impromptu.
