Support a switch to Central?
If ever a hot button existed in Mercer County – this button is flaming: Should Mercer County operate by Mountain time or Central time? According to the Beulah Beacon, the Beulah Chamber of Commerce recently conducted a membership survey to gauge support for an effort to petition the Department of Transportation for a change from Mountain to Central time in Mercer County. Of 110 members, 70 responded – with 60 in favor of the action to seek the time change.
