What if it exploded?
How would Dakota Gasification Company and Mercer County emergency staff react if part of the Great Plains Synfuels Plant exploded?
That question was the center of discussion Thursday at the GrandView Steakhouse in Beulah, where approximately 20 DGC officials and county emergency responders gathered for two hours during the table talk exercise. Safety staff chose specific conditions to discuss how they would handle a mass casualty event.
