Join the Washburn Public Library Mondays at 10:30 a.m. for “Puppy Tales with Copper” (weekly children’s story time).

Oct. 12
The Washburn City Commission will hold its regular scheduled meeting at p.m. at the city hall. The public is invited to attend.

Oct. 13
The Washburn Life meeting will be held at noon at the Washburn City Hall.
Washburn American Legion Victor B. Wallin Post 12 and Auxiliary will have their meeting at the Memorial Building. Social at 5:30 p.m., 6 p.m. stew feed, with meetings beginning at 7 p.m. New members and guests are always welcome.

Oct. 15
West River Transit quarterly board meeting will be held at 10 a.m. at West River Transit.

Oct. 16
Southern McLean football parents’ night.

Oct. 20
Join the Washburn Public Library at 6 p.m., for our next book club meeting and a visit from Bismarck author Paulette Bullinger. She will be discussing ‘Nothing Hidden’ and other books she has coauthored, and we will learn about her upcoming Great Reads from Great Places North Dakota tour. The event is open to anyone interested.

Oct. 25
Super Sunday Supper from 4 to 6 p.m. at the First Lutheran Church in Washburn. Free-will donation.

Oct. 30
Washburn Life’s Candy Caravan.
