2016 Washburn City projects

What projects are taking place? There is a Street project, Sewer project and Water project planned for Washburn during the summer of 2016.
What areas will be in the 2016 Street Improvement District? 5th Avenue (from 6th Street to 7th Street), 6th Street, 7th Street (Main Avenue to RR), 8th Street (4th Avenue to RR), 9th Street (6th Avenue to 2nd Avenue), 10th Street (4th Avenue to Main Avenue), Main Avenue (10th Street to 11th Street), and 2nd Avenue (3rd Street to 9th Street). Streets will have concrete and asphalt patched, milled or replaced, as well as receive new seal coating as necessary.
What areas will be in the 2016 Sewer Improvement District? 6th Street (7th Avenue to 4th Avenue), 2nd Avenue (3rd Street to 8th Street), and 9th Street (6th Avenue to 4th Avenue).
What areas will be in the 2016 Water Improvement District? Main Avenue (10th Street to 11th Street), 2nd Avenue (3rd Street to 8th Street), 8th Street (Main Avenue to 2nd Avenue), and 6th Street (Main to RR).
What will the projects cost? Estimated costs for the projects are $2,335,000 for Street Improvements, $655,000 for Sewer Improvements and $479,000 for Water Improvements, with a total estimated cost of $3,469,000. That being said, it is early in the process and bids for the project have not been taken yet. Those bids could affect the estimated cost of the project and bring that number up or down.
