Budding Entrepreneurs

Four Washburn high school students might be the leaders of tomorrow, with businesses in our region.

Or at least that was the plan they presented at an Entrepreneur Fair in Underwood recently.

Courtney Hall and McKenzie Miller proposed a fine arts school, while Scotty Price leaned towards a hunting outfitters business and Vlad Cherevkov wants to develop a more functional backpack.

Hall and Miller took their love of art to develop a business plan for a fine arts school in Bismarck, which would offer dance, voice, art and photography lessons.

The two were inspired by an art ITV class taught by Alison Hein of Wing.

Even though the teacher is coming to them over a television screen, the girls thought the training was helpful and even liked taking art through ITV.
