City Commission opting to not renew Washburn Life membership
After expressing concerns about communication issues between the city commission and Washburn Life, commissioners opted to not renew their membership with the group.
During the Feb. 12 Washburn Commission meeting, commissioners had the chance to renew their membership with the not-for-profit Washburn Life. However, the discussion turned to the council wanting to find a way to better build a relationship with the group before opting to join as a member
