City identifies sewer work priorities

Upon being presented with an updated outline and estimate of a grandscale water and sewer line endeavor, the Wilton City Commission recently singled out priority areas along Minnesota Avenue and the eastern end of Dakota Avenue to mitigate costs.

Moore Engineering’s AJ Tuck appeared at the Feb. 2 session to walk commissioners through a detailed mapping and line items of street and utility improvements totaling a little over $6 million.

The project, as described by Tuck, is divided into four parts, comprised of:

Phase 1, West, which would include infrastructure work along 7th Street North, Burleigh Avenue, a portion of Bismarck Avenue, a portion of Whitman Avenue and Bookwalter Avenue).

Phase 2, encompassing all of Minnesota Avenue.
