Fun Jump Party Jumpers

Emphasizing the North Dakota ideals of integrity, fairness and getting what you pay for, Adam and Heidi Eckel, Washburn, owners of the new "Fun Jump Party Jumpers," stated it’s their mission to bring inflatable fun to Washburn and surrounding communities at prices that won’t "break the bank."

"We kept hearing people say companies in Bismarck won’t deliver (to small towns) unless you agree to a $1,000 party," Heidi said, with Adam stepping in to add, "There’s a very negative perception attached to bounce houses. People think they are a very expensive thing with a crazy-high price point. That doesn’t have to be the case."

Upon learning there was a local need and wanting to instill discipline and work ethic in their sons, Colton, 13, and Dylan, 10, Adam and Heidi decided now was the time to start up a part-time family business. Their specialty? Fun, inflatable bounce houses!

"We hope to establish a good college fund for our boys," Adam said, "to open opportunities for them to pursue anything they desire when the time comes. (To teach them) you can’t get anything in life without some hard work."

Fun Jump Party Jumpers has been a limited liability company (LLC) since May 15, renting out their first inflatable over Memorial Day weekend. Heidi said, "So far, we’ve gotten good feedback."
