HERE COME THE RIDERS

The Oct. 2 Southern McLean Roughriders Homecoming Parade kicked off in grand fashion last Friday afternoon, as students, cheerleaders, faculty and community members gathered outside Washburn Public School. Marchers walked from the bus barn on 7th Street down to Main Avenue and back to the parking lot. Law enforcement agents from the McLean County Sheriff’s Office were also part of the festivities, along with the fire department and representatives from the American Legion’s Victor B. Wallin Post 12. The weather was brisk, but hardly a factor. (Photos: Ralph Mancini)
