Meyer elected to soybean council

Wilton farmer first woman ever to join board

For the first time in its history, the North Dakota Soybean Council has elected a woman to serve on the board. According to a press release from the council, Jennifer Meyer of Wilton has joined the board to represent soybean farmers in District 12. District 12 consists of 21 counties in Southwest North Dakota, including McLean and Burleigh Counties.
“I am excited to be the representative for District 12 on the North Dakota Soybean Council,” Meyer said. “I believe the Council is an important tool to help North Dakota farmers
provide resources and Meyer elected to soybean council Wilton farmer first woman ever to join board information and bring a unified voice when it comes to the challenges we face
in the industry and in the country. I look forward to working with farmers here and across the state to represent our industry.”
