The Wilton School Board hosted a regular meeting on April 17, in the FACS Room. The members went through bids for projects that will be under construction throughout the summer.
Among the projects is putting in a new key fob system for nine exterior doors. This will help with monitoring the traffic flow of the school.
The school will be able to control certain doors with specific fobs that are assigned to those doors. The doors will only be open during certain hours. Another function allows the school to deactivate fobs if someone loses or misplaces a fob.
If community members take fobs, then the school can activate it for the allowed access time and manage when individuals come in and out of the facility.
