Region finals didn’t go exactly the way Wilton-Wing had planned, as the Miners lost to Bismarck-based powerhouse Shiloh Christian last week 64-48. Scott Wolff’s crew fought its way back from a 17-point halftime deficit to narrow the Skyhawk lead to five early in the fourth quarter before the Navy and Gold embarked on an offensive explosion to claim victory — and the Region 5 title.
