Outgoing Washburn Superintendent Brad Rinas presented with The Cardinal Award
The halftime ceremonies of the Feb. 25 boys basketball game featured Washburn School Board Chairman Rick Tweeten issuing Superintendent Brad Rinas with a commemorative plaque for his 40 years in education, 14 of which were spent in Washburn. The University of North Dakota graduate was cited for his leadership in handling the COVID pandemic and the support he’s provided for Washburn students and the community at large.
