Repairs to be made to some Washburn city buildings this fall
After seeing some leakage issues during the late winter and thawing season, the city of Washburn will get repairs on some of its city buildings.
During the city of Washburn Commission meeting June 12, the board voted unanimously to spend just over $6,700 for roofing repairs to fix the leaking issues.
“I think you all know we have had some leaking problems all alongside the building,” said Public works Superintendent Adam Thomas at the meeting.
“We have been having ongoing roofing problems at the shop, as well.”
