Washburn fourth graders are working to ensure a warm holiday season for those in need.
Antenniel Neumiller’s fourth-grade class spent part of December hosting a pajama drive that will benefit children and adults in Bismarck.
The students passed out flyers alerting local businesses to the need for donations of new pajama sets and nightgowns, which were accepted up until Dec. 12.
“We gave them boxes for their classroom so they could put pajamas in them,” fourth-grader Ethan Swanson said.
At the end of the drive, the classroom had received 74 sets of pajamas. The fourth graders then boxed up the sleepwear and tasked their teacher with making sure it ended up in the right hands.
