Snow derails four boxcars

Four rail cars were left splayed in the snow Friday after being unintentionally ejected from snowy tracks near Coal Creek Station.
The four cars, apparently owned by Dakota Missouri Valley Western Rail Road, hit a snow-covered patch of tracks just off of 83 Friday morning and jerked out of place.
A group of men worked to clear the tracks so the DMVW engine could connect to the dislodged cars and pull them back in line.
One man on site said the cars had been empty and no one was injured in the incident, but that he had no further information.
Efforts to reach the owners of the rail cars were unsuccessful.
