Two to play college sports
Two Washburn High School seniors have signed on to play college athletics next year. Jack Sannes and Jordan Waldren will both continue their athletic careers after
graduation this spring, with plans to play sports at a college level elsewhere in North Dakota. Jack Sannes Minot State University football Jack Sannes, son of Paul
and Tammy Sannes of Washburn, has signed on to play football at Minot State University this fall. “I have been playing organized footbal l since sixth grade but have played
football in my backyard or wherever I could with friends since I can remember,” Jack said. When it comes to the sport he loves, Jack said part of his passion comes down to
the other players on the field with him. “I get to play with all my teammates that I would consider to be all my brothers and have built so many memories playing the game,” Jack said.
