Washburn Commission reviewing new procedure
The city of Washburn is reviewing a code of conduct policy to give more guidance and structure for how commission meetings will be run.
During the Aug. 14 Washburn Commission meeting, a new code of conduct was read through for first reading of the policy for the board.
The policy highlights how audience members should approach commissioners and topics during a meeting, including no swearing, outbursts and more, along with setting time limits for speakers, who is directing the meeting and more.
