Washburn opts to cease adding fluoridation to city water in 4-1 vote
Washburn city leaders have voted to immediately cease adding fluoridation towater wit hin city limits.
However, naturally-made fluoride from the Missouri River will not be filtered out at this time.
During the Washburn Commission meeting held April 14 at the city hall, a nearly two-hour long discussion took place regarding the pros and cons of having the chemical in the water system.
