Washburn Post 12 wraps up strong season with State Tournament trip
The 2025 American Legion Baseball season came to a close for Washburn Post 12 with back-to-back matchups against top-tier competition in the Class B State Tournament, held August 1-2.
While the tournament didn’t result in wins for Post 12, their presence on the state’s biggest summer baseball stage was a triumph in itself, marking the program’s first appearance at state since 2012 and the culmination of years of steady progress.
“Playing at the state tournament was an absolute honor,” said Head Coach Brandon Page. “Being able to win the district tournament and represent District 1 after being so close the last two seasons was unforgettable.”
