Washburn School announces changes for 2026-27 school year
Washburn Public School will implement several changes beginning with the 2026-27 school year, including a restructuring of grade levels, updates to grading and academic eligibility policies, and a transition to a new student information system.
Washburn Public Schools distributed a notice May 29 to parents, guardians, staff and the community about upcoming changes, which was shared with the Leader-News the same day by Principal Beau Eriksson.
According to the notice, which was signed by Washburn Public School Administration, the changes are aimed at improving student learning, strengthening academic expectations and supporting continued growth within the district.
