Five Washburn High School students will be performing in the Northwest Festival of Music at Minot State University this weekend.

Students were selected for the honor band and choir after either submitting a recording or performing a live audition. The students will take part in the two-day festival starting Friday morning, including a half a dozen rehearsals before final concerts take place at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday.

Washburn High School students that were selected to perform are Greysen Anderson, Terry (TJ) Grumbo, Brandi Holznagel, Zach Schell and Hunter Strickland.

Admission to the concert is $5 per person. High school band and choir directors get in for free by showing a name badge.
