"Wherever God can use me, that’s where I’ll go."

On July 1, Cory Thrall’s wish came true, as he began serving as pastor of the Missouri Valley Parish (MVP), which includes the United Methodist Churches of Washburn, Center and Turtle Lake.

Growing up in Bismarck, Thrall graduated from Century High School in 1992.

He attended school at Central Christian College in McPherson, Kan. and Nazarene Theological Seminary in Kansas City, Mo.

He was most recently employed at Border States Electric, where he did inside sales for 12 years.

Thrall married Becky nearly two decades ago and together they have a "very sociable" pet lovebird named Sunshine.
