Wilton board raises meal, athletic fees for new year

The Wilton Public School Board approved higher meal and athletic fees, reorganized its leadership and discussed staffing and facility concerns during its annual meeting July 29.
Jessica Oswald was elected board president for the 2026-27 school year, while Kylee Schuh was selected as vice president. Newly elected board member Kerri Benning also took the oath of office.
The board approved breakfast and lunch prices based on guidance from the U.S. Department of Agriculture. Student breakfast will cost $2.40, student lunch will cost $3.25, adult breakfast will cost $2.85 and adult lunch will cost $4.35 during the 2026-27 school year.
Athletic participation fees will increase from $25 to $30 per sport. The family maximum will remain $150. Both fee changes were approved unanimously.
