Wilton Christmas concert/spaghetti dinner is Thursday

By Michael Johnson, Editor

The Wilton School students are preparing for a night of merriment as the high school concert and spaghetti dinner takes place from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Thursday at the Wilton School. This is the second annual event, which allows the students to put on a great show and raise funds for their music trip to Chicago in June. The event was held in the Memorial Hall last year, but the school has outgrown that location. Music director Megan Holkup said they will hold the concert in the school to allow more room for everyone to have a place to enjoy their spaghetti dinner and take in the music of the high school. “The event is a free-will offering,” Holkup said. A free-will bake sale will accompany the event for further fundraising opportunities for the Chicago trip. Much of the food for the night was donated. Those attending can expect a variety of songs from the high school band and choir.
