Wilton commissioners approve ordinance updates, set spring cleanup
The Wilton City Commission approved ordinance updates, granted a temporary liquor license transfer and set spring cleanup dates during its regular meeting April 1 at the City Meeting Room.
According to meeting minutes published in the Leader-News on April 16, Commissioners unanimously approved the minutes from the March 18 meeting and the agenda as presented.
During public comment, resident Bob Ell asked about remaining funds designated for Memorial Hall following insurance proceeds and money allocated by the Sales and Use Tax Board. City officials said approximately $3,200 combined remains unspent.
The commission approved the first reading of revisions to Chapter 2 of the city ordinances. City officials also held a general discussion regarding potential updates to Chapter 3, Public Places and Property, though no formal action was taken on that chapter.
Commissioners also approved a request to transfer the County Line Café liquor license to Memorial Hall for the Pheasants Forever Banquet on April 11.
