Wilton selects secondary principal

By Michael Johnson, Editor

Wilton School will welcome a new secondary principal this August. The Wilton School board voted to approve offering the position to Andrew Jordan on Sunday evening. Jordan is a past graduate of Wilton School. The school board agreed to move forward with adding the position after realizing that the job was difficult at times for one K-12 principal to handle. Current principal Richard Bjerklie will serve as the elementary principal. Personnel board members Bill Harris and Jamie McLean met to narrow the choices and eventually agreed upon Jordan for the job. Jordan is the current program director for the extended school program and the MARS Learning Center for the Missouri River Educational Cooperative.
