Aggies advance past Southern McLean in Playoff showdown
On Oct. 25, the Velva-Drake-Anamoose-Garrison Aggies and the Southern McLean Roughriders met in the opening round of the Class B playoff s in what proved to be a hard-fought battle between two talented squads.
The Aggies ultimately came out on top with a 49-6 victory, but both teams showed grit, sportsmanship, and pride in a game that marked the culmination of months of work and dedication.
From the opening kickoff, the Aggies established their rhythm, using a balanced attack of physicality and speed to control the tempo.
