Defense picking up wins for Post 12

The Legion Baseball team has been "hitting it out of the park" lately as Post 12 acquired its 11th win this past weekend bringing the team’s record to 11-3.
Coach Dirk Hausauer credited the team’s wins to its exceptional defense. "Defense is what keeps you in games," he said.
Some key players include Daniel Henke, Hunter Jacobs and Blake Anderson, he noted. According to the coach, these players have been the most consistent hitters and Jacobs has been doing some phenomenal pitching lately.
Pitcher, catcher and third basemen Daniel Henke believes in order for the team to keep up its winning streak the team must continue to push each other individually so they can excel as a team.
Henke also would like to up his own game by improving on his team leadership, communication and fielding.
