Fall sports seasons have been given a green light by the state activities association, though specific guidelines for the seasons are still pending.
The North Dakota High School Activities Association board voted last week to proceed with fall sports and activities as scheduled, opening the door for practices to start as soon as the first week of August.
A press release from the NDHSAA said guidelines on activities would be released in the near future.
The decision came two days after Governor Doug Burgum announced that schools will be allowed to have on-site education this fall, if they choose.
Football and cross country practice is slated to start August 10, with volleyball August 17.
